Technique, motivation, and accountability to write that book!

We are very excited to offer a limited enrollment 3-Month Novel Mentorship Program with Professor and Amazon Bestselling Author, Seraphina Nova Glass. She’s also a screenwriter and award-winning playwright. She is published with Harper Collins and her third book will release in May, 2022. She has written each of her novels in three months or less, so she knows this can be done and believes in knocking out that draft and polishing it after it’s complete.

The one-on-one mentorship program will accept no more than 10 motivated writers. This is an immersive course designed to shepherd talented writers to THE END of their manuscript and identify next steps for the manuscript (revision, querying agents, publication, etc.).

The Ideal Applicant for this program can be at any stage in their novel. Whether you are still working on your idea or are well into writing it, the mentoring and one-to-one sections of the course will meet you where you are, and the seminars will cover material and ideas meant to motivate and inspire both beginning and advanced novelists. Writers accepted into the program will have basic knowledge of the tools and craft of writing fiction and are looking for an intensive experience without the cost of a top flight graduate program. Interested applicants will want to be a part of a thriving and intimate fiction cohort and understand that growth in craft requires critique, consistent work, and an eagerness to grow.

How it works:

This program in FULLY ONLINE

This program will accept the FIRST 10 applicants.

The instructor will meet you where you are in your writing process. Once the course starts, you will schedule a one-on-one session with Seraphina to discuss where you are and where you want to be. Ideally, each candidate will work on an outline of their novel before the program starts.

You will be able to send Seraphina questions and talk through any roadblocks you run into at any time over the three months, and scheduled call/Skype meetings will occur once weekly. You will be expected to write TWENTY FIVE pages of your book every week, and turn in up to TEN pages weekly for direct feedback. Much of the feedback given will apply to your next chapters, so the goal is not to revise. The goal is to keep moving forward, and use the notes to improve as you go. The notes each week will also be very helpful to refer back to in your revision process after you complete the first draft.

You will also be given new resources from the instructor every two weeks such as: writing tips, structuring the novel, outlining techniques, how to get an agent, realities of the publishing world, and much, much more.

Because the course is online, these resources will be in the form of articles, handouts, Powerpoints, etc., rather than lecture. Seraphina will be available to expand on any of these resources and help you on your writing journey so you can finish that first draft in the three months.
