Workshop alum Janice Levine has a new piece published in OLDSTER, which you can read here.

Janice's excellent piece is the first essay published in a new Oldster Magazine series called “Not Over It.” This series features personal essays about the incidents from long, long ago that still nag at us, still confound us, still hurt—no matter how much perspective we’ve gained, or distance we’ve gotten from them.

Janice was in Isaac Fitzgerald's 2023 Nonfiction Workshop in Iceland. We're really excited to see this fantastic piece published! Congrats, Janice!

Janice lives in Brooklyn, close to her children and grandchildren. After a career as an educator, she has become a writer of creative non fiction. She has written a memoir, and is currently writing about aging.

Oldster Magazine is the brainchild of 50-something editor-in-chief, Sari Botton, a bestselling writer, editor, and teacher living in Kingston, NY. This year she published her debut memoir, And You May Find Yourself: Confessions of a Late-Blooming Gen-X Weirdo. She is probably best known for editing Goodbye to All That: Writers on Loving & Leaving NY, and for the five years she worked as the essays editor for Longreads.
