Apply to Writing Workshops Santa Fe 2027

You're one application away from an April in Santa Fe. Writing Workshops Santa Fe runs April 7–11, 2027, with three cohorts of no more than 10 writers each: the Fiction Workshop with Rubén Degollado, the Nonfiction Workshop with Samantha Mann, and the Master Class & Generative Seminar with Virginia Reeves, open to writers in every genre.

Your application includes a brief bio (500 words max), a purpose statement telling us why you'd like to join us in Santa Fe (1000 words max), and a writing sample in fiction, nonfiction, or poetry (5,000 words or 10 pages of poetry max — excerpts welcome, published or not). In your purpose statement, tell us which cohort you're applying for: Rubén's Fiction Workshop, Samantha's Nonfiction Workshop, or Virginia's Master Class, which is open to all genres and generates new work on site. If you'd like to join either your genre workshop or the Master Class, say so. Poets: the Master Class is your cohort.

We review applications on a rolling basis until each cohort fills, then open waitlists. Early applications are strongly encouraged. Questions before you apply? Contact us — we reply promptly.
