Alumni Spotlight: Kris Haines-Sharp

Today, we're catching up with Kris Haines-Sharp, who attended Blake Kimzey's Path to Publication Seminar as well as Lauren Hamlin and Aaron Shulman's Writing a Breakout Book Proposal Seminar. She recently had two pieces accepted for publication. "The Birds: Grief" was published by Entropy and "Kneading Our Way Home" was published by Adelaide Literary Magazine

Kris is currently writing personal essays and a memoir of her childhood in Israel. In the coming year, she would like to get her memoir off and running.

BIO: Kris Haines-Sharp is an educator and writer living in the Finger Lakes Region of New York. She is a 2020-21 Craigardan writer-in-residence where she was selected to study with Kate Moses in the Bookgardan writing program.
