Diana Spechler, author of the New York Times Opinion series Going Off, teaches a very popular class called Writing Essays About Travel and Food. She teaches you how to write the kind of piece that gets published.
And, every market on this list wants the same thing: a piece that could only have been written by the person who was actually standing there. That is the whole subject of our nonfiction workshops.
