Congratulations to workshop alum Lois Melbourne! Her debut novel, Moral Code, was recently published in September 2022 and reached an Amazon #1 New Release in metaphysical science fiction in October!

Learn more about Lois and her work below:

Describe your work (influences, interests, etc.) and what you're working on now.

I'm working on a new novel focused on the power of women working together and building their networks. It provides a nod to many incredible women in history, but is definitely not historical fiction.

What are your short term (1 year) and long term writing goals (5 years from now)?

I will complete my first draft of this next novel in the next six months. In the long term I want to write and publish in multiple genres.

What class(es) did you take/are you taking with Writing Workshops?

30 Poems in 30 Days with Sarah Carson.

What did you enjoy most about your class(es) with Writing Workshops?

I enjoyed the interactivity between fellow classmates and honest feedback from Sarah.
