BIO: Jessica Montague is a relationship therapist, consultant, educator, and writer in private practice based in the Bay Area. She is a certified emotionally focused therapist and supervisor and currently serves as board chair for the Northern California Center for Emotionally Focused Therapy. She is endorsed as an Infant & Family, Early Childhood Mental Health Specialist in the state of California. Jessica has a masters in social work from Columbia University and a BA in theater from UC San Diego. She trained in family and couples therapy for four years at the Ackerman Institute for the Family in New York City. She lives in Oakland with her husband, two daughters, and a puppy named Charlie.
