About Devil's Charm:
Detective Lexie Garner has never investigated a murder like this: a fellow cop is found dead in the street with his insides burnt to ashes. When she finds traces of sulfur and an ancient emerald necklace at the crime scene, she follows the strange evidence into unknown territory. She discovers she’s hunting a demon, and her partner, Colin Jacobs, is the next target. Armed with a spell and no idea how to navigate the supernatural world, she must destroy the demon to save Jacobs’ life.
Describe your work (influences, interests, etc.) and what you're working on now:
I love Supernatural and X-Files--anything paranormal. I'm currently revising the second book in the Lexie Garner trilogy (the follow up to Devil's Charm). It should be released by August.
What are your short term (1 year) and long term writing goals (5 years from now)?
1 year: get the Lexie Garner trilogy published
5 years: have an agent and my newest thriller published
What class(es) did you take/are you taking with Writing Workshops?
The Fiction Workshop with Christine Pride in Iceland in the Summer of 2024.
What did you enjoy most about your class(es) with Writing Workshops?
I loved working with Christine and our one-on-one conference.
