MENTOR CHLOÉ CALDWELL is the author of the national bestseller, Women (Harper Perennial, 2024). Chloé’s next book, Trying, is forthcoming from Graywolf, on August 5th, 2025. She is also the author of the books I’ll Tell You In Person (2016), The Red Zone (2022), and Legs Get Led Astray (2012). Her essays have appeared in The New York Times, Vogue, Bon Appétit, The Cut, Vice, Longreads, Nylon, The Rumpus, The Sun, and half a dozen anthologies, including Goodbye To All That: Writers on Loving and Leaving NYC and Without A Net: The Female Experience of Growing Up Working Class, and Sluts.

Graduate Readers Include:

Michaell Crews is a writer/lawyer living in Detroit, MI. She is working on her first memoir/collection of essays titled “Stretched: Essays from the Life of a Reluctant Caregiver”. Her first essay “Walking Out” will be published in The Sun magazine’s Readers Write section in January 2025.

Kate Devine is a writer living in Catskill New York, where she cohosts the Works in Progress Salon. Her essays have been published in New York Magazine’s The Cut and various literary magazines. She has an MFA in creative nonfiction writing from Sarah Lawrence College, and is currently working on her first book.

Sam Yugler is a writer living in Portland, Oregon. She got her BFA in creative writing from Sarah Lawrence College and worked as a journalist before pivoting to career as a psychotherapist. She is working on a memoir about growing up in New York City, family fractures, grief, and queer life.

Lori Walker is a freelance writer living in Tulsa. She is a co-host of The Poetry Lab Podcast and is working on her debut essay collection, tentatively called Have Body, Will Travel.

Ashley Molesso (she/her) is a queer artist who writes for fun. She is the other half of Ash + Chess, a queer and trans-owned stationery company and is the co-author of Queer Tarot: An Inclusive Deck & Guidebook and has been published in Erato Literary Mag. She lives in the Hudson Valley.

Leila Mohr is the recipient of a NYSCA/NYFA fellowship in fiction from the New York Foundation for the Arts. Her short stories can be found in The Gettysburg Review among other publications. She is currently working on a memoir.

Alexandra Sheckler Eliopoulos is a managing editor living in Los Angeles, CA. Her work has been published in The Sun and Gathering: A Women Who Submit Anthology. She is currently working on her first book.
