WRITERS LOVE SHAYLA:

"I have taken many writing workshops over the years but Shayla introduced me to new information, ideas, and valuable insights to help my writing and potential for publishing ahead. I will look forward to taking more of her classes! Well done and thank you so much."

"Shayla Raquel Unforgettable Memoirs seminar had so much information, it was well presented, well organized, and easy to listen to as well. She invites questions and you can tell she is well-versed in her subject matter, and also in relating the information. She is generous with her time and attention. I would totally attend another class with her!"

"Shayla Raquel's workshop was one of the best I've attended in years. Sharp, witty, intense and very useful! I liked that she gave us the facts and didn't sugarcoat the business of memoirs."

"When you hear Shayla Raquel speak, you’ll know she truly loves authors. You’ll also learn she’s hilarious, direct, and wise. Whether it be a keynote, workshop, or panel, Shayla will bring a unique and authentic energy to your audience." —Mike Loomis, Author & Brand Marketer

"Shayla Raquel was a great addition to our event. She is knowledgeable about her subject matter and was a joy to listen to. She speaks more as a friend than a lecturer, creating a fun and supportive environment." —Diana Haslet, Enid Writers Group

"So many times, the expectations placed on an author when it comes to promoting their upcoming book can be paralyzing, but Shayla’s talk on marketing and PR was refreshing, inspiring, and totally took the pressure off. She combined broad recommendations with detailed suggestions, and I took a lot away from her presentation." —Shawn Smucker, Author of The Day the Angels Fell

"I have always had great results from Shayla's work, but she somehow exceeded our expectations. Her presentation was informative and clear; her presentation style was articulate and welcoming. Anyone would benefit greatly from Shayla's expertise." —Dr. Dwayne Cantrell

“Amazing presenter and workshop! I attended Shayla's Book Marketing Recipe for Sizzling Sales seminar and she not only provided excellent content, but she also made it relevant by showing all of us how it all works. Honestly, I did not expect to learn so many good tips on marketing a book. I especially did not expect to be fully engaged and captivated on the topic of book marketing for three hours on a Sunday afternoon. Excellent, excellent workshop.” —Ken Jenkins

“I have now taken two seminars from Writing Workshops. I keep telling people that the Self-Publishing 101 session by Shayla Raquel was the best $65 I've spent on my career. And I was already published! I took another seminar that might have been even better. This is an amazing organization and such a treasure for writers.” —Krystal Craiker, Author

“Shayla's class on book marketing was fantastic! Informative and well thought out, there were so many ideas to immediately implement—and she only touched the tip of the iceberg. Please bring her back for part two!” —Cherie Fruehan
