Led by Steve Adams, author of the forthcoming novel, Remember This. Steve is a writing coach and freelance editor, and for over a decade he's coached writers at all levels, from beginners to writers who have published multiple novels and made the New York Times Bestseller List. His experience and daily interactions with his clients over many years have given him insight into a wide range of approaches to the writing process.

His creative nonfiction has won a Pushcart Prize, been listed as “Notable” in Best American Essays, and his short fiction and craft essays have been published widely.

In this unscripted one-hour interactive Q&A, moderated by Stefani Zellmer, we will explore techniques and designs to support the writing life while we field and answer questions from participants.

So please bring your questions and concerns as far as the writing process, such as how to establish a practice, problems with being blocked, managing distractions, perfectionism, the problematic inner editor, and anything else you want to explore.

COURSE TAKEAWAYS:

  • Participants will come away with ideas of how to approach their process, as well as what working with a writing coach might look like
