Taught by Elizabeth Teets, a Los Angeles based writer, comedian and fashionista. Her work has appeared in Los Angeles Times, New York Times, Repeller, Catapult, Reductress, and more.

Looking to make 2023 your most productive year yet? Both writers new to personal essays and seasoned professionals are welcome to this intensive workshop. In this three week class, writers will generate new ideas for 2023 and have two chances to receive feedback on their work. Writers will also have time to create and talk about their writing goals for the coming year. This class can be used to work towards a completed draft of a short essay, a pitch for a dream publication, or to start a long project off right.

In this class you will get:
  • Space and motivation to start the New Year creatively.  
  • Time to create writing goals.  
  • The confidence to take on 2023 as an artist.  
  • A super fun space to talk about your work with other writers. 

Class meetings will be held over video chat, using Zoom accessed from our private class page.

This class meets weekly via Zoom. Come prepared for a super fun class with live interaction on Zoom each week and plenty of writing, reading, and talking!
